Tom Bombadil on the barrow, based on a friend of mine who used to wear Tom's clothes at conventions. Those who were at the Tolkien 50 years in Birmigham maybe remember him.
great painting, you really captured the feel of Tom in the books ^^

In the world of Tolkien, there are five kinds of people: no power, hero power, magic power, over powered, and godly hilariously over powered. Ol' Tom is still in a league of his own, knowing that. He could prance and skip into the land of Mordor, pimp slap Sauron and Melker, and by home in time for lunch, all the while wearing the One Ring as a nose piercing. ...Good thing for Sauron ol' Tom doesn't give a crap.
Your image captures Tom's happy, gentle, and friendly nature perfectly. You sir, are an artist deserving of Tolkien.
